Five Star Documentation
Manuals and guides are available in either:
- Word 2000 format: If you do not have Word 2000, then download the free Microsoft Word File Viewer. Alternatively they may be viewed with Wordperfect or Wordpad, but there may be some loss in formatting.
- pdf format.

To download a document right click on it and choose Save Target As or left click to open the document immediately.
| Privacy Statement Notice!! |
As of January 1st, 2004, all Canadian hotels are required to include their Privacy Statement on registration
cards.

Below is a link to a file called H1form. It contains a registration card design which includes a privacy statement.
- To download the file RIGHT click on the link H1form and choose Save Target As.
- You can download and copy the file to the GJCWIN\DATA directory if you haven't modified the registration card that initially came with Five Star.
- You will have to rename the file once copied and remove the .TXT from the end of H1form.
- If you have modified your registration card then don't copy this file because it will TOTALLY overwrite your existing design, and there is no "undo" once copied to your system.
- If you do use this file you will have to modify the last few lines of it since you are required to include your hotel name, address, phone # and email address on it.
- To edit the design go to Hotel Management, Setup, User Defined Letters and Cards.
- Choose your design from the list.
- Click on Layout and go to the bottom of the list. You will see several lines where you can edit the text with your hotel info.
